My books are open for commissions.

I take a wide range of commissions, from swarms of bees, flower arrangements, people and pets. Bellow is my general price range for pet and human portraits. Please do not hesitate to contact me for a quote on unique pieces.

1- Size

Firstly you will need to decide on a size. Standard sizes can be seen bellow but other sizes are available by request. Please let me know if you would like a head and shoulders portrait or full body portrait.

2 - Reference Photo

Choose a photo - In order to create the best likeness with a high level of detail, I require good quality photographs taken in natural light. I’m happy to work from a few photographs if you are having more than one subject as it is hard to get them all to look great in one photo! If you are requesting something from your imagination or a concept, get in touch. Also if you only have low resolution photos available but still want a commission, send it through and we can discuss possibilities.

Please note, additional pet, people, or detailed backgrounds attract a further cost.

3 - Booking

Once we have confirmed the size and reference photographs, I ask for a non refundable 50% deposit upfront, this is payable by transfer, or - if international, a link through our website will be created for you. This is required to help pay for the materials. Once booked in I will give you an approximate completion date for your portrait and will keep in touch should there be any delays but this almost never occurs. Let me know if it's a surprise and I'll keep it a secret until you have gifted the portrait. General wait times are three weeks, around Christmas however it can be much longer.

Watercolours portraits are created on high quality 100% cotton watercolour paper which is chlorine and acid free. I use professional quality artist’ pencils to guarantee longevity. Simple framing can be provided on request.
